Mini Wall Decals

These are the pieces that finish a wall. Once a scene is up there are always gaps a full-size decal is too big for — around a light switch, behind a door, in the space between a tree and an animal. Twelve packs, most of them fifty pieces, on peel-and-stick woven fabric.

Scattering Without Making a Pattern

Even spacing is what ruins these. Work in loose clusters — three or four close together, then a long gap, then a single stray. Keep density highest low down and let the pieces thin as they rise, the way anything scattered in nature actually falls. Turn each one to a different angle, and let a few wrap around a corner or half onto the ceiling.

The two-tone packs give you an extra trick: put the darker tones low and dense, the paler ones high and far apart, and a flat wall gains depth from colour alone.
