We draw, print and post every design ourselves, which is why our wall decals are woven fabric rather than vinyl - fabric repositions while you are still deciding, lifts away without residue, and does not tear the paint off a rental wall on the way out.

What people ask before their first order - how fabric wall decals stick, how they come off, and what walls they suit.

Will wall decals damage my paint?

Not on a wall that is clean, dry and fully cured. Our fabric decals are made to release from cured paint without residue or lifting. The one real risk is fresh paint - it needs at least two weeks to cure, and applying a decal before then is the single most common reason one fails.

Are they reusable and repositionable?

Yes. Fabric decals can be lifted and repositioned while you work out the layout, taken down when a room changes and put back up elsewhere. Vinyl generally gives you one attempt; fabric does not.

What surfaces do wall decals work on?

Clean, dry, cured painted walls. Avoid delicate or paper wallpaper, peeling or rendered surfaces and antique finishes. If you are unsure, test a small piece in an out-of-the-way spot first.

How long does it take to put a wall decal up?

Most sets take under an hour. Place the largest element first, peel one corner, position it, then press outward from the centre with the flat of your hand. No tools, no paste and no drying time.

Are they safe for a nursery?

They are printed with GREENGUARD Gold certified, phthalate-free and odourless inks, so there is no off-gassing period to wait out - a nursery wall decal can go up the same day the cot arrives. Keep the wall directly above the cot mattress clear of anything a standing baby can pick at.
