Make sure the wall is clean, dry and fully cured. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth, and if it needs more, use isopropyl alcohol rather than a household spray cleaner - most sprays leave a residue that stops a decal bonding. freshly painted walls need at least 30 days to cure before anything goes on them (follow the paint manufacturer’s full curing instructions).

On clean, cured paint, no. Our fabric decals are designed to be removable and reusable on suitable, clean, dry, smooth and properly cured painted walls when applied and removed as directed, which is why they suit rentals. They are not suitable for delicate or paper wallpaper, peeling or rendered surfaces, or antique finishes. If you are unsure, test one small piece for 24 hours first.

Lightly textured painted plaster is fine. Heavy texture, render, brick and unsealed masonry are not - there simply is not enough flat surface for the adhesive to grip, and the decal will lift at the edges.

Yes. They are woven fabric, not vinyl, so they can be repositioned while you decide and taken down as directed and put back up in another room. Store removed decals on their original backing sheet or on baking paper.

Most sets take under an hour. Lay the design out on the floor first, place the largest element, peel one corner at a time and press outward from the centre. There are no tools, no paste and no drying time. Our install guide has the full method.

They are printed with GREENGUARD Gold certified inks (Roland ECO-SOL MAX 2, certified for low chemical emissions) on woven fabric. There is no vinyl smell and no off-gassing period, so a nursery wall decal can go up the same day the cot arrives. Keep the wall directly above the cot mattress clear of anything a standing baby can pick at.

Vinyl generally gives you one attempt: it stretches, creases and can take paint with it on removal. Fabric repositions, sits flat with a matte non-reflective finish, and releases as directed from suitable, cured paint. It is the reason we use it, and the reason our decals work in rentals.

It varies by design - each product page lists what is included in that set. Some are single large feature pieces, some are multi-element scenes, and our mini wall decal packs contain up to 50 small pieces for filling gaps.
